Sweepstakes Official Rules

Effective Date: July 1, 2024

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE THE CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. Eligibility:

Topeka Restaurant Month (the "Sweepstakes") is only open to those who sign up by scanning the official Topeka Restaurant Month QR code displayed at Participating Restaurants and submitting the Check-In Form with a valid name and email address and who are 18+ at the time of entry. This sweepstakes is only open to all legal residents of the United States and void where prohibited by law.

Employees of Stonecraft Media, their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children), and anyone residing in the same household as said employees, whether related or not, are excluded from participating. Participants from Event Sponsors and partner organizations are welcome to enter, provided they are not employed by or directly related to Stonecraft Media staff. Participants from Participating Restaurants are welcome to enter, provided they do not enter this sweepstakes by scanning their own restaurant's designated QR code.

The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

2. Agreement To Rules:

By participating, you agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and you respresent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of the Organizer as final and binding as it relates to the content. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.

3. How to Enter:

Participants may enter this sweepstakes by scanning the official Topeka Restaurant Month QR code displayed at any of the Participating Restaurants and submitting the online 'Check-In Form' with a valid name and email address. Each form submission (or 'check-in') constitutes one sweepstakes entry.

Participants are encouraged to check in at multiple locations to increase their chances of winning, with each check-in at a different restaurant counting as an additional entry. Multiple check-ins at the same participating restaurant are permitted after a period 2 hours has lapsed since the previous check in at that same location.

The entry must fulfill all sweepstakes requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are not complete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Organizer. You must fill in the information requested (first name, last name, email address). You must use the same information for each entry - this means using the same first and last name and the same email address for all entries.

You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, indenties, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of the Organizer.

4. Sweepstakes Period:

Entries will be accepted online starting on July 1, 2024, at 6:00 AM Central and runs through July 31, 2024, at 11:59 PM Central.

All entries must be received by July 31, 2024 11:59pm Central.

5. Prizes:

Winners will receive:

Weekly Prize (5) valued at $100 each; Grand Prize (1) valued at $500 each.

Actual/appraised value may differ at time of prize award. The specifics of the prize shall solely be determined by the Organizer. No cash or other prize substitution permitted except at Organizer's discretion. The prize is non-transferrable. Any and all prize-related expenses, including with limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by winners is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Organizer to use winner's name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

6. Odds:

The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

7. Winner Selection and Notification:

Winners of the Sweepstakes will be selected in a random drawing under the supervision of the Organizer. Winners will be notified via email to the email address they entered the Sweepstakes with within (5) five days following the winner selection. Organizer shall have no liability for a winner's failure to receive notices due to winner's spam, junk email or other security settings or for winner's provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 72 hours (3 days) from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.

The receipt by winner of the prize offered in the Sweepstakes is conditional upon compliance with any and all federal and state laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY ANY WINNER (AT ORGANIZER'S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN SUCH WINNER'S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE SWEEPSTAKES AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.

- July 6th (for eligible entries received July 1, 2024 at 6am CST - July 5, 2024 at 11:59pm CST)
- July 13th (for eligible entries received July 6, 2024 at 12am CST - July 12, 2024 at 11:59pm CST)

- July 20th (for eligible entries received July 13, 2024 at 12am CST - July 19, 2024 at 11:59pm CST)

- July 27th (for eligible entries received July 20, 2024 at 12am CST - July 26, 2024 at 11:59pm CST)

- August 3rd (for eligible entries received July 28, 2024 at 12am CST - July 31, 2024 at 11:59pm CST)

Grand Prize Drawing will be held on:

- August 3rd (for eligible entries received July 1, 2024 6:00am CST - July 31, 2024 11:59pm CST)

8. Rights Granted by you:

By entering this Sweepstakes you understand that the Organizer, anyone acting on behalf of the Organizer, or its respective licensees, successors and assigns will have the right, where permitted by law, without any further notice, review or consent to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use, worldwide in any media now know or hereafter in perpetuity and throughout the World, your entry, including, without limitation, the entry and winner's name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image or statements about the Sweepstakes, and biographical information as news, publicity or information and for trade, advertising, public relations and promotional purposes without any further compensation.

9. Terms:

The Organizer reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend, terminate, or modify this Sweepstakes should (in its sole discretion) a virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. In such cases, Organizer may select the recipients from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Organizer.

Organizer reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or website or violates the Terms & Conditions.

Organizer has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Sweepstakes, to void entries for any reason, including, but not limited to; multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by sweepstakes rules; or the use of bots, macros or scripts or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Stonecraft Craft Media reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of Liability:

By participating, entrants agree to release, discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless the Organizer and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors, sponsors, and participating restaurants from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) such entrant's participation in the sweepstakes and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or portion thereof, (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, cable, network, hardware or software; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions or telephone or internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (v) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries.

11. Privacy Policy:

12. Disputes:

THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES AND KANSAS WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES.

As a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, participant agrees that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively as set forth in Section 13 of the Terms of Use. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards/prizes for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney's fees, other than participant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes), and participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

Stonecraft Media is solely responsible for all aspects of this Sweepstakes, including the selection and notification of winners and the distribution of prizes.

15. Winners List:
